This Microsoft 365 connector (the "Service") is offered free of charge by Koine Ventures. It is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, quiet enjoyment, availability, and non-infringement. Koine Ventures does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that it will meet your requirements or produce any particular result.

No liability; limitation and exclusion of damages

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Koine Ventures and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, loss of profits or revenue, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or security incident, arising out of or relating in any way to your access to, use of, or inability to use the Service, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other theory, and even if Koine Ventures has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Because the Service is provided free of charge, Koine Ventures' total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service shall not exceed US $0 (zero dollars). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you; in that case liability is limited to the smallest amount permitted by law.

Assumption of risk

You acknowledge that connecting any tool to your Microsoft 365 environment carries inherent risk, and that Artificial Intelligence systems can act unpredictably, make mistakes, and take unintended actions on data you make available to them. You knowingly and voluntarily assume all risk arising from your use of the Service, including the risk of data loss, data exposure, unintended reads or writes to mail, calendar, files, or messages, service disruption, and security incidents. You are solely responsible for maintaining your own backups and for reviewing any action taken through the Service.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for confirming that your organization permits connecting this Service to your Microsoft 365 tenant and for obtaining any internal approvals required. You are solely responsible for your own legal, regulatory, contractual, and compliance obligations, including those under data-protection and privacy laws and under your agreements with Microsoft and Anthropic, and for the data you access, transmit, or act upon through the Service. The Service acts only with the delegated Microsoft Graph permissions that you or your administrator explicitly consent to, acting solely as the signed-in user, and you may revoke that access at any time in the Microsoft Entra admin center (Enterprise applications → this application → Permissions / Properties / Delete). You are responsible for reviewing the requested permissions before consenting and for promptly revoking access if it is no longer authorized.

Third-party services and dependencies

The Service is a connector that depends on third-party services and software that Koine Ventures does not own or control, including Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Graph, Anthropic's Claude and its client software, and open-source components (including the upstream @softeria/ms-365-mcp-server). Koine Ventures makes no representations or warranties about, and is not responsible or liable for, the availability, performance, security, accuracy, or acts or omissions of those third parties, or for any change, suspension, or discontinuation of their services. Your use of Microsoft and Anthropic products remains governed by your own agreements with those providers.

Continued use is consent; consent on behalf of your organization

By granting consent, connecting, or otherwise continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms, and your continued use constitutes ongoing, renewed consent to all of them and to all associated risks each time you use the Service, including as they may be updated from time to time. If you grant administrator consent or otherwise enable the Service for others, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to accept these terms on behalf of your organization and all of its users and that you do so bind them to these terms. Your continued use after any change to the Service or these terms is your acceptance of that change.

Data handling

The Service is designed to store no customer data at rest. Your Microsoft 365 sign-in tokens are issued to and held by the Claude client and presented to the connector on each request; the connector uses them in memory only to call Microsoft Graph on your behalf and does not write your OAuth access or refresh tokens, mailbox content, calendar data, files, or messages to any disk or database. Operational and error logs are configured to be kept only in ephemeral, in-memory storage that is wiped when the service restarts, and to be redacted of personal identifiers. No warranty is made that logs or diagnostic output will never contain limited technical error detail, and this section describes the current design, which may change. Availability, modification, and discontinuation

The Service carries no uptime, service-level, or support guarantee. Koine Ventures may, at its sole discretion and without notice or liability, modify, update, degrade, rate-limit, suspend, restrict, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part), and may terminate or refuse access to any user or organization, at any time and for any reason.

Acceptance, governing terms, and no legal advice

By granting consent, connecting, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Statement. If you do not agree, do not use the Service, and disconnect it in the Microsoft Entra admin center. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force, and the unenforceable provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary.
